Can you tell us a little bit about your background and your entrepreneurial journey?

I’d like to start by expressing my enduring ambition since graduating, which has always driven my curiosity about how I can contribute to society’s betterment and enhance individuals’ lives. My passion for electric bikes has been a significant source of inspiration, leading me to envision a fresh market and stylish electric vehicle (EV) bikes suitable for all age groups.

Regarding my educational background, I embarked on my career as a mechanical engineer at Nilkanth Engineers, a decision that, in my view, profoundly impacted my life and paved the way for me to pursue my dream project—the establishment of Aarya Automobiles. Through Aarya Automobiles, we aim to provide customers with high-quality products at affordable prices. I’m thrilled to mention that Aarya Automobiles not only manufactures but also assembles e-bike components on-site, a fact that brings me immense satisfaction to share with you.

Please share your journey as an entrepreneur, highlighting key milestones and experiences

The path of entrepreneurship is often challenging for individuals, but it is one’s abilities, determination, and expertise that enable them to reach their goals. The initial launch of Aarya Automobiles posed challenges in areas such as selecting the right workforce, determining component usage, addressing legal considerations, battery choices, and identifying the target demographic. My entrepreneurial journey has had its share of highs and lows, but what truly counts is how you manage these challenges and find solutions. As time passed, tasks became more manageable, though occasional obstacles still arose and were successfully navigated.

Let us know more about Aarya Automobiles, its specific areas of expertise, and the range of products it offers & How do you plan to differentiate your products from competitors?

Founded in 2019, Aarya Automobiles has made significant strides since its inception. We have evolved from crafting Electric Vehicle (EV) prototypes for the commander to establishing a fully operational production facility equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. Our production capacity has experienced a substantial boost, now enabling us to manufacture up to 5000 bikes per month. Our company has grown more organized and efficient than ever before.

One of our key strengths is our dedicated team of experienced professionals from the automotive industry who worked tirelessly with us to overcome several initial prototype challenges. This collaborative effort has resulted in the development of an exceptionally refined product ready for the market.

Aarya Automobiles is proud to introduce the Commander, a revolutionary electric motorbike that combines innovative features with timeless design. Our mission is to offer an affordable bike that caters to the common man’s desires and requirements. We are launching our operations in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka, aiming to provide our exceptional product to a wide audience.

What motivated you to establish a company focused on manufacturing electric bikes, and what is your long-term vision for the business?

Aarya’s “Made in India” campaign is designed to not only underscore the points mentioned earlier but also to challenge the existing perception that associates China exclusively with electric vehicles (EVs). Electric bikes alleviate the concerns of young riders and empower them to navigate India’s roads with confidence. Our commitment lies in providing Indians with the chance to own a classic bike that boasts impressive features and comes in a range of attractive colors, all at an affordable price point. Our vision is to fulfill the desires and preferences of the country’s youth by offering an electric bike with a vintage aesthetic that aligns with their aspirations.

What is your approach to research and development for electric bikes, and how do you ensure your products align with the preferences and needs of your target customers?

In terms of research and development, we have an internal team dedicated to overseeing all aspects related to technology, batteries, and equipment to create highly advanced e-bikes tailored for Indian road conditions. This team remains well-equipped and stays current with every nuance of the automotive industry, customer preferences, government regulations, and more. Our R&D department perseveres until it achieves top-notch quality, thereby ensuring that we provide our customers with exceptional e-bikes and establish trust among them. Our electric bike designs are crafted with a focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and preferences, delivering the best possible experience to our valued customers.
