Can you share the inspiration behind starting Yugasa Software Labs and developing YugasaBot? What motivated you to enter the conversational AI and healthcare automation space?

The inception of Yugasa Software Labs originated from a recognition of the increasing need for innovative software solutions across sectors, fueled by the transformative power of technology. Our journey towards the conversational AI and healthcare automation space was driven by a convergence of factors. First, the marketplace exhibited an obvious demand for AI-powered chatbots and automation, particularly within the healthcare sector where patients and providers looked for improved communication and management tools. Secondly, healthcare provided unique challenges, from scheduling appointments to customer engagement and data security, where we believed technological advances could make substantial improvements. Our dedication to having a positive impact on this important sector was further fueled by passion for both healthcare and technology, which led to the creation of YugasaBot and our foray into healthcare automation.

Could you elaborate on how YugasaBot specifically caters to healthcare organizations, and what unique features it offers to streamline their operations?

YugasaBot offers a wide range of capabilities that are specifically created to fulfill the needs of healthcare organizations and streamline their business processes. Appointment scheduling is one of its main purposes, enabling healthcare professionals to effectively manage their appointment bookings 24 hours a day. This not only increases patient accessibility but also lightens the administrative burden. In addition, YugasaBot excels at interacting with patients by automating reminders for appointments, prescription schedules, and follow-up visits. This proactive method improves patients’ compliance with treatment plans, which eventually leads to better health results. The bot also acts as a trustworthy source of medical knowledge, giving patients truthful responses to their inquiries, which can be important for patient satisfaction and education. Overall, YugasaBot is crucial to increasing efficiency.

In the healthcare industry, privacy and security are paramount. How does YugasaBot address and ensure the confidentiality of patient data and Transactions?

YugasaBot places paramount importance on dealing with and ensuring the security of patient data and transactions within the healthcare industry. To accomplish this, our platform utilises a multi-faceted approach. Our security procedures are based on data encryption. We are GDPR compliant and we integrate with the customer’s platforms through secured Rest API integrations, which means that all the data and information of the customer stays on the customer’s server and whatever gets generated on our server, in terms of the communication can be removed from there either automatically at set intervals or can be removed manually by the hospital. Moreover, we are hosted on very secure servers shelled by firewalls. Our continuous commitment to data security makes YugasaBot a reliable source for interactions involving healthcare.

Can you describe some real-world use cases or success stories where YugasaBot has made a significant impact on healthcare organizations and their patients?

I would love to share a case study of one of our clients from the healthcare domain who were able to reduce their spending on human support by almost 30% and increase customer satisfaction. This multi-specialty hospital reduced their reception and support staff to seven from ten members earlier and put QR codes in different corners of their hospital with the tag ‘May I help You’. Patients and their relatives now scan the QR code instead of standing in long queues at receptions and talk to the AI chatbot to seek help with their queries like Dr. Appointment, TPA Status, Pharmacy, Blood Test Reports, and more. International patients can communicate in their preferred language at the time of their comfort. The outreach feature for email marketing and WhatsApp marketing of YugasaBot has helped our other customers in doing low cost promotions and awareness campaigns thus resulting into reduced CAC for our customers.

5-What are the challenges you’ve encountered while developing and implementing AI-based solutions in the healthcare sector, and how did you overcome them?

Our dedicated working towards healthcare industry has built YugasaBot into more than just a chatbot. Lot of health related modules around YugasaBot, for example YuHIMS, YuConsult (OPD Booking and TeleConsultation Platform), YuDesk, and YuIPD bring a 360 degree solution for most of the small and mid-sized hospitals and clinics that do not have enough IT automation in existence as of now. Unlike small and mid-sized hospitals, larger hospitals generally have third party software like HIMS, EMR system, Payment systems etc already existing. Sometimes these third party software companies fail to provide us secured APIs either because of their not being ready with such APIs or because of being reluctant in sharing their APIs. In such scenarios we encounter challenges. Even if the APIs are made available by the third party providers, due to their unstructured programming, the process becomes time consuming to achieve the intended user experience on bot. The core of the above mentioned problem lies in the fact that Indian Healthcare IT Industry does not follow any specific standard coding practicies as of now. Every software or IT system follows its own coding structure and style and is highly inert towards third party integrations. However, it is important to mention here that YugasaBot, through one of its patented technologies of writing the API integration code with in the Conversational flow, can manage to achieve such third party integrations faster as compared to other possible chatbots in the market.

Given the 24/7 nature of healthcare services, how does YugasaBot handle scalability and maintain high availability to meet the demands of healthcare providers and patients?

Addressing the 24/7 nature of health care and maintaining adaptability and high accessibility for YugasaBot is paramount. To accomplish the demands of medical patients and providers, we employ a cloud-based platform for dynamic flexibility, ensuring additional resources are provided as needed. Our architecture includes redundancy across geographically separated data centres and load distribution to avoid single points of failure, reducing downtime. Proactive alerting and monitoring structures continually evaluate system health, allowing rapid issue resolution, while our dedicated 24/7 technical assistance and service teams ensure uninterrupted services. These combined evaluations encourage YugasaBot to effortlessly offer reliable, on-demand promote in the healthcare sector, regardless of the time or fluctuations in demand.
