Recently, we interacted with Mr Sanjay Tiwari, Founder & CEO of 21CC Education. With a motto of “Learn anywhere, anytime”, 21CC Education is driven by the mission to make learning fast, fun, gamified, and to the point.
Here are the interview highlights:
- What are the USPs of the 21CC platform?
The most unique aspect of the platform is that it is learner-centric. This means that from the learner’s journey, their accomplishments and incentives, skills acquired and the knowledge of the kinds of jobs they are qualified to do with their present skill set. The fantasy map showcases the learner’s surroundings before setting foot on the company premises. They get an in-depth virtual idea of the environment, culture and colleagues they will be involved with to make better informed decisions. It is far from generic and it’s rather specific content that will guarantee the user a productive deployment that they can thrive in.
The second USP lies in the fact that the platform is flexible and scalable as it is ‘soft coded’. This means that based on the foundational platform already created, we are able to cater to a wide audience across industries.
2. What are the sectors that are currently using this solution and what has the feedback been like? What sectors will it be implemented into in the future?
The 21CC platform began with catering to the logistics sector (warehouses, air freight, ocean/port logistics as well as last-mile delivery organizations), healthcare and hospitality where cleanliness and hygiene needs are different but top priorities within the sectors. We are also easing into the green economy and creating content that will help frontline workers make the transition to more sustainable ways of working.
Mr Sanjay Tiwari, Founder & CEO of 21CC Education
The feedback has been no less than astounding from both the hiring party and hirees. At a user level, we have been successful in Mumbai, Haryana, Bengaluru and Mysore with no language barriers as the app caters to multiple dialects. From the educator’s point of view, the parameters that allow for in-depth learning, systemic tracking of skills and job opportunities have been well received. We have customers in India, Malaysia, Nigeria and the Netherlands that have assigned us the responsibility of skilling their frontline staff.
3. Could you give us a quick run-through of the inner workings of the app and who benefits the most?
We frequently refer to the entire operation as the engine of an automobile owing to its varying moving points. In a nutshell, 21CC can track industries, narrow down companies, list the vacancies and suggest the best fit for the job requirement amongst the thousands that apply for a single job opening. Conversely, aspirants can see the skill sets needed for a particular job, hone their skills on the platform, and get the desired job. That was for just a single sector, hence the reference to an engine as we cater to multiple sectors in a similar fashion.
4. Have you raised any money? If so how much and are you still looking to raise funds?
Yes, we have raised 1.4 million Euros from HNIs thus far. At the moment, we are in the middle of our Series A funding round. We believe that the content developed so far, appeals to various sectors and the addition of the AI component will allow for acceleration, making it a unique proposition for investors. India is the country to be in for companies around the world as the change in the next 15-20 years will be unprecedented.
5. What are your five-year plans?
We would like to be seen as the leading company for skill management across industries. We would like to be the solution for those who are from lower economic households to use their skills, guide them through industries and forge a successful career path. We are the technological guidance platform that provides them with advice that their immediate relatives may not be able to.
