1. Why you choose Digital Marketing as your career:
I didn’t opt for a career in Digital Marketing per se, but rather the broader realm of marketing. It stems from a prevalent belief I’ve encountered while growing in the business family: “koi sales karde, baki hum sambhal lenge,” where the focus was on just sales rather than marketing. Sales, I realized, was merely a part of the overall marketing landscape, the logistical arm, so to speak. My penchant for avoiding boredom and the quest for a field that could consistently engage me over the long term led me to explore various businesses. Ultimately, I found that an integrated marketing agency was the most relevant choice to keep me motivated. Marketers are the pioneers of change, driving innovation. I’m excited by the prospect of understanding the multifaceted challenges of multiple businesses simultaneously. In today’s evolving mindset, agencies are pivotal to the growth of many businesses. They are no longer mere vendor partners but integral components of companies and brands.
2. Overview of your journey:
PromotEdge was established in 2015, even though we had minimal experience in the agency sector at the time. Our approach has always been centered on solving problems and understanding the unique requirements of our clients, relying on the expertise of industry professionals to address those needs. During the initial 2-3 years, we were in a constant state of flux, simply fulfilling client requests and demands. The client was the ultimate authority, always right. However, as time went on, our perspective expanded to encompass the bigger picture, where we focus on the brand and its ultimate consumer. We’ve transitioned to a guiding role, emphasizing the importance of making clients understand the broader context rather than just executing their instructions. We’ve been fortunate to collaborate with a wide range of individuals, products, and brands. Our journey has been marked by growth, including partnerships with startups and national-level brands. We continuously experiment, learn, strive, earn, and grow. Our journey in this industry is ongoing, with ample room for improvement and enhanced performance.
3. Please share your services:
At PromotEdge, we provide end-to-end marketing solutions that comprehensively address our clients’ needs. Our services span a wide spectrum, encompassing everything from understanding products and market gaps to brand positioning, raising awareness, generating leads, and ultimately driving product sales. Back in my childhood, I used to be the one to swiftly change the channel whenever an advertisement popped up. However, over the years, my perspective has undergone a profound transformation. I’ve come to realize the remarkable impact that advertisements wield – they can either propel products, companies, and brands to great heights or drag them down.
One memorable experience that stands out is our collaboration with the sports brand, Kolkata Thunderbolts. Our involvement encompassed shaping their brand identity, designing their jerseys, creating an array of collateral materials, developing their website, meticulously managing their social media presence, producing compelling branded content, and even launching a unique intellectual property, Volley Biswas.
This multifaceted journey epitomizes the undeniable influence of marketing within the sports industry. It serves as a testament to the transformative power of strategic marketing, which can turn a local sports brand into a recognized and celebrated entity.
5. Which is the best beat you have served till the date:Our most notable achievements include positioning Sany, one of India’s largest construction equipment companies, as ‘Naye Bharat Ka Nirmata’ through the ‘Built to Change’ campaign. This transformative initiative captured the essence of Sany’s innovation and impact in India’s construction industry.
Additionally, our work with Utkarsh India, where we positioned them as the ‘Invisible Force,’ was another remarkable campaign. This initiative highlighted Utkarsh’s significant contribution as a driving force behind the scenes.
6. Your journey as an entrepreneur:
My journey as an entrepreneur has been way too pivoting. We’ve navigated through experimentation, failure, learning, reinvention, and are once again in the exploration phase.
