Price leaks
Tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), in collaboration with TheTechOutlook, leaked the price details.
The Pixel 8 is said to be priced at EUR 874.25 (roughly Rs. 78,400) for the 128GB storage variant and EUR 949.30 (roughly Rs. 85,200) for the 256GB storage variant.
Meanwhile the Pixel 8 Pro could cost an eye watering EUR 1,235.72 (roughly Rs. 1,10,900) for the 128GB storage model and EUR 1,309.95 (roughly Rs. 1,17,500) for the 256GB storage model.
Reportedly, the 512GB storage variant will sell for EUR 1,461.24 (roughly Rs. 1,31,100).
India prices
However, do note that the Indian prices are usually a bit lower than in European markets.
The reason the figures are so high in Europe is due to its tax system, which is why the company usually introduces phones in India at the original set price.
Hence, the Pixel 8 is expected to be priced between Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000.
Again, this is not the official pricing and just a prediction based on leaks and previous launches.
