The Chennai–Rameswaram Vande Bharat Express is poised to revolutionize rail travel in Tamil Nadu. By cutting down the journey time to less than 9 hours, this semi-high-speed train will greatly enhance regional connectivity and promote religious and leisure tourism in the state.

This train will traverse 665 km, connecting Chennai to Rameswaram, with stops at:

  • From Chennai: Departs at 5:50 AM, arrives Rameswaram at 2:30 PM
  • From Rameswaram: Departs at 3:00 PM, reaches Chennai by 11:30 PM
