Citroen C3 Aircross Automatic Launched in Chennai

The SUV has been launched in three variants, Plus, Max, and Max 5+2-seater. The top end of the car has been priced at Rs. 13.85 lakh.

As per Aditya Jairaj, MD & CEO at Stellantis India, “The launch of the new C3 Aircross Automatic is a pivotal moment in our India venture, being the first automatic transmission on our C-Cubed platform.”

As per Jairaj, the car has been studded with advanced features, boasts an impressive performance and the prices are competitive. He also has said that the car will be perfect for those seeking comfort, versatility, and an amazing driving experience.

The new Citroen C3 Aircross is reportedly the most budget-friendly automatic mid-size SUV in India.

Citroen C3 Aircross: Specifications and Features

The car is powered by an Aisin-sourced 6-speed automatic transmission that has a manual gear selector mode. Additionally, the engine on the car is a  1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 109 BHP and 205 Nm of torque.

Additionally, the French carmaker has stated that the engine has a higher torque rating and offers 15 Nm more than the manual version. The car comes with a 5-seat or 5+2 seat configuration with up to 511 litres of luggage space.

Additionally, it will be fitted with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster, remote engine start and remote AC preconditioning, and USB charging.

In October last year, we reported that Citroen launched the C3 Aircross in India. It is the fourth model the French automobile giant has launched in the country. It joins the ranks of the C5 Aircross SUV, C3 hatchback, and E-C3 electric hatchback in the Indian lineup.
