The Indian government owned telecom player which has been carrying the blot of being a loss making entity and not making able to keep up with it private counterparts, is now making waves its new budget-friendly annual plans. Recently telecom players like Airtel and Jio have increased the tariff of their existing plans, and this move by BSNL is basically designed to attract users looking for long validity without breaking the bank.

This move by the government owned telco to introduce low-cost recharge options is expected to draw more users to its expanding 4G network.

BSNL’s budget-friendly annual plan

In order to meet the affordable as well as long-term demand of users, BSNL has introduced a new annual recharge plan priced at just Rs 1,198. This plan is especially planned for those individuals who are looking for yearly connectivity, without the hassle of recharging repeatedly.

The yearly Rs 1,198 offers 365 days of validity with free calling and enjoys an uninterrupted network experience. It would include a data allowance of 36GB which will be valid for a year, which means that on an average there is 3GB of high-speed data per month.

Along with data and free-calling, users will further receive 30 free SMS per day, enabling them to stay connected even if data limits are reached.

An Alternate High-Value Annual Plans for Data-Heavy Users

Now, with the rising internet penetration and more internet usage per month, there are people who have requirement for more data. In this case, BSNL offers a higher-tier plan priced at Rs 1,999, which provides 600GB of high-speed data and 100 SMS daily, with a validity of 336 days.

Though the plan is for 336 days, hence not full year, but it offers significant data and messaging benefits for power users at an affordable price.

This latest plans by BSNL provide great value, long validity and budget-friendly annual recharge rates to customers looking for reliable connectivity without frequent recharge worries.
