BSNL Launches 2GB/Day Plans At Less Than Rs 7/Day For 75 Days

BSNL Offering 4G Recharge Plan

The latest move from the telecom major has a significant impact on other telecom operators, especially BSNL, which lost millions of subscribers over the years.

Following the recent price hike, the BSNL has garnered attention due to its affordable recharge plans.

In the meantime, the BSNL has accelerated its 4G rollout in order to attract more subscribers.

The state-owned company 4G services are now available in many locations across the country.

BSNL aims to achieve nationwide rollout by mid-2025.

Let’s go through this plan for those considering switching to BSNL.

This is a 4G recharge plan that offers 2GB of daily data for 75 days at less than Rs 7 per day.

BSNL Rs 499 Recharge Plan

BSNL recharge plan is offered at Rs 499 and is valid for 75 days.

With this recharge plan, BSNL offers unlimited local and STD calls with 100 SMS daily for free.

Besides this the consumers will also get 2GB daily data for 75 days.

The  users will also get 3GB extra data with this recharge plan additionally.

In the meantime, the BSNL plans to deploy 100,000 4G towers by mid-2025, with 25,000 villages set to have telecom connectivity by the same time, Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced.

Further adding, villages without telecom and mobile internet will be connected by BSNL.

BSNL plans to install 75,000 4G sites by Diwali 2024, although only 25,000 have been installed so far.

With this move, the country is dedicated to developing its own 4G network, and BSNL is leading the way in indigenous 4G development while also testing 5G.

To achieve this, technology service providers such as TCS, along with C-DoT and Tejas Networks, are providing the technological support for BSNL’s 4G rollout.

When it comes to Jio, the telecom service provider has made progress with its 5G technology but still depends on external vendors for its 4G infrastructure.

In the meantime, BSNL is gaining popularity considering its affordable recharge plans, and the company is rapidly rolling out its 4G services.

Basically, BSNL is offering a 4G recharge plan that offers 2GB of daily data with unlimited calling for less than Rs 7 per day.
