Most of us WhatsApp users in many countries are now able to access the Meta AI chatbot which helps the users to create images, ask for recipes and much more.
Generate Images Through WhatsApp Meta AI Chatbot
Not only this, soon the messaging app will have the ability to use the AI tool to create AI-generated images of yours.
Yes you heard right as presently, WhatsApp is testing the feature in the development stage on Android this month, as highlighted by Wabetainfo in this post.
According to the tipster, it has spotted the feature being tested with the Android beta 2.24.14.13 version.
So, we can expect it to soon be rolled out for the beta testers.
The AI generator message shows up with this pop-up that gives you the details about how Meta AI will create your AI avatar, as it is displayed in the image.
Further, the message on the app informs, “This feature allows you to take photos of yourself once, then ask Meta AI to generate AI images of you. To generate an AI image of yourself, type “imagine me..” in your Meta AI chat. You can also use this feature in other chats by typing @metaAI imagine me….”
How Does It Work?
First of all, WhatsApp will ask the user to click a selfie of them that will be used to read and analyze before generating the AI avatar with the right level of accuracy and details.
Please note here that their photo will be readable to Meta AI for this feature to successfully develop the image, so don’t feel triggered.
Besides, WhatsApp feels assured about its safety aspect.
Notably, the users will retain full control over this feature, as they can delete their setup photos at any time through the Meta AI settings, the tipster confirmed.
It’s a known fact that Meta is famous for raising its privacy concerns and this AI feature is equally susceptible to possible intrusion.
In a note, Meta explains that Meta AI cannot read other messages, as the command is processed separately, and the resulting image message will automatically be shared in the conversation by the app, ensuring that user privacy is always preserved.
It is noteworthy here that WhatsApp will not keep the feature enabled by default and will only work after the user gives their consent.
