The next Google Pixel 9 Pro was seen in leaked hands-on photos last month; today, more shots show the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL.
This year, Google plans to introduce three high-end slab-style smartphones, which are rumored to be called the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL.
Google To Launch Three New Smartphones: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL
The Pixel 9 will be the replacement for the Pixel 8, the Pixel 9 Pro XL for the Pixel 8 Pro, and the Pixel 9 Pro with Pixel 9 size will have specs comparable to the XL.
The leaked Pixel 9 prototype has 12GB of RAM, while the other two devices have 16GB. All three models have 128GB of storage, though this could change when the device is put into mass production.
With the Pixel 9 measuring 6.24″, Pixel 9 Pro measuring 6.34″, and Pixel 9 Pro XL measuring 6.73″, screen sizes are anticipated to stay the same.
Although the dimensions of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro are the same, the former has thicker bezels while the latter features three 50 MP cameras on the rear. A 5x optical zoom is available with the Pro versions of the Pixel 9, whereas the Pixel 9 only includes an ultrawide lens and a main camera.
All Three Devices To Have Google Tensor G4 SoC
All three devices have Google’s Tensor G4 SoC, which does not support UWB on the regular Pixel 9 but does in the Pro variants.
The leaked photos reveal the Pixel 9 family’s new design, which includes a completely flat frame and a camera island on the back in place of the former edge-to-edge ‘visor’ appearance.
Google has made the choice to provide a variety of Pixel 9 models in order to accommodate a range of user preferences and market groups. The addition of sophisticated camera features, such periscope telephoto lenses, demonstrates Google’s commitment to improving shooting experiences.
All Pixel 9 variants benefit from enhanced performance and effective AI processing thanks to the usage of Google’s exclusive Tensor G4 SoC.
The Pixel 9’s connectivity capabilities may be affected by its lack of UWB compatibility when compared to the Pro variants. Google’s changing aesthetic choices and design language are reflected in the change from the “visor” style to a camera island.
