During the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Asus has launched its ROG Phone 8 series, the gaming centric devices.

This device incorporates the next-generation innovative features which are expected to enhance the overall experience.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 series features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED LTPO display.
It further supports a 65Hz refresh rate and 2500 nits peak brightness.
Further, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset which supports up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage.
Improvements From Its Predecessor
When it comes to the notable improvements from its predecessor, it includes IP68 certification along with a 15% reduction in thickness and weight, and slimmer bezels.
The Asus ROG 8 series packs a robust 5,500 mAh battery, which is further complemented by a 65W charger for rapid charging.
Basically, its support for Quick Charge 5.0, PD Charging, and 15W Qi wireless charging helps in enhancing the device’s versatility overall.
For taking pictures, the ROG Phone 8 series offers a triple rear camera configuration.
It comprises a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with 6-axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer, a 32MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, pixel binning, and OIS, and a 13MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view.
Its AI Grabber is a standout feature as it allows users to extract text directly from games.
Besides this, the latest launch incorporates Stable Diffusion technology which helps in crafting the visually AI wallpapers.
This way, it adds a touch of aesthetics to the gaming-focused phones.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 series prices starts at $1,099.99 (approximately ₹91,500) with the top-end Pro variant(24GB RAM + 1TB storage) being priced at $1,499.99 (approx ₹1,25,000).
