Asus ROG Ally X Handheld Gaming Console Launched At Rs 89,900: Check Top Features

It was earlier this year at the Computex 2024 that the device made its debut.

Successor of the Asus ROG Ally, this device offers major enhancements and features a 7-inch 120Hz display and an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme CPU. One of the most standout feature is its large battery, since its predecessor’s review were filled with the complaints about battery life.

The new Ally X features a sleek black design that is ergonomic for maximum comfort.

Priced at Rs. 89,900 in India, the Asus ROG Ally X will be available in only black colour. This handheld gaming beast can be bought from Asus ROG Store, Eshop, Flipkart, Amazon, and other offline retailers.

Just like its global counterpart, the Indian version too has a 7-inch full-HD IPS touchscreen display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a response time of 7ms. 

As per the company disclosure, this screen can reach a peak brightness of 500 nits and has 100 per cents RGB coverage. For added protection, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

For the handheld gaming device, there is included AMD’s FreeSync Premium technology which addressed concerns like screen tearing.

High-Performance Handheld with AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme and Enhanced Connectivity

Weighing 678g and having dimensions 28.0 x 11.1 x 2.47, it is powered by AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chipset with an 8-core Zen 4 architecture. Paired with an RDNA 3 GPU and 24GB of LPDDR5X dual-channel onboard RAM, it coming with a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD with upgradable capacity to 4TB for storage. There is Windows 11 operating system on the gadget.

With a dual speaker system, the Asus ROG Ally X comes with Smart Amplifier Technology and Dolby Atmos support to improve your gaming experience. In addition, its built-in array microphone is Hi-Res certified and includes AI noise cancellation.

There are 4 ports for connectivity: a Thunderbolt 4 port that supports DisplayPort, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a UHS-II microSD card reader. 

In addition to this, Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E are supported. Double the capacity of its predecessor, the handheld is powered by an 80Wh 4-cell Li-ion battery. The gaming device may be charged at 65W via USB Type-C.
