Apple Macbook Air got all the more powerful with the new powerful M3 chip, which is poised to offer a significant improvement in performance when compared to its predecessors.

Introducing the New MacBook Air with M3 Chip

As compared to the previous M2 chip, M3 chip delivers 60% faster performance and up to 13 times faster than the intel based versions. What also sets this piece apart is its integration with AI. The M2 chip furthers the AI capabilities, which also makes it currently the leading consumer laptop in this space.

Boasting a sleek design, the MacBook Air comes in 13- and 15-inch sizes, which sports a stunning Liquid Retina display and runs upto 18 hours on battery. It has new features like the support for upto 2 external displays, enhanced Wi-Fi, better camera quality, better microphones and speakers, MagSafe charging, a silent fanless design, and macOS integration. It comes in four colours which are midnight, starlight, space grey and silver.

With a blazing-fast performance, M3 delivers up to 60% faster speeds across various tasks ranging from gaming, photo & video editing, software development.

Along with AV1 decode for high-quality video streaming, for realistic gaming experiences, it also supports hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing.

It also does well with the AI tasks, since its leverages the 16-core Neural Engine for on-device machine learning. Made with 50% recycled materials and also meeting high energy efficiency standards, sustainability is what MacBook exemplifies.

On the price front, a 13-inch model starts at $1,099 whereas the 15-inch model starts at $1,299. There are options when it comes to trade-in as well as financing.

Customers can order starting today, with availability beginning Friday, March 8.
