Apple has officially scheduled its next major product launch for September 9, 2025. The event will be held at Apple Park in Cupertino and streamed globally, continuing the tradition of Apple’s high-profile fall announcements.

Apple Starts 3-Year Plan To Revolutionize, Reinvent iPhone

The main highlight will be the unveiling of the iPhone 17 lineup.

Apple to Unveil iPhone 17 Lineup at September Event in Cupertino

Four iPhone models are expected: the iPhone 17, the slimmer and lighter iPhone 17 Air, and the premium iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Apple has not released official specifications yet, but leaks suggest design refinements, improved cameras, a redesigned camera island, and deeper integration of AI features.

CEO Tim Cook has described AI as Apple’s “next big opportunity.”

In addition to iPhones, Apple is expected to launch new Apple Watch models.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is likely to include incremental upgrades targeted at outdoor and endurance users.

The Apple Watch Series 11 will continue as Apple’s mainstream smartwatch. A refreshed Apple Watch SE is also rumoured, focusing on delivering Apple’s health and fitness features at a more affordable price.

The September event is considered significant because Apple is betting heavily on AI to enhance user experiences across its devices. Analysts will closely monitor how AI features are integrated into the new iPhones and Watches, especially given rising competition from Samsung, Google, and Chinese brands.

The iPhone remains Apple’s top product, generating more than half of its revenue.

Pre-orders for the new iPhones are expected to begin within days of the announcement. The first wave of devices will likely reach customers later in September 2025.

Entire iPhone 17 Lineup To Be 100% Made In India, 1st Time Ever

We recently reported that Apple is moving more iPhone 17 production from China to India for the US market.

At launch, the full range of iPhone 17 models will be shipped from India for the first time.

Additionally, Apple is working on a replacement for the iPhone 16E, which it intends to produce in India.

To reduce its dependency on Chinese manufacturing, the company has been gradually shifting iPhone production to India.

Apple anticipates paying $1.1 billion in tariffs this quarter.

According to reports, tariffs are currently not applied to Apple’s iPhone exports from India to the US.
