At a starting price INR 2.43 lakh, Indian motorcycle manufacturer, TVS Motor Company has launched the latest addition and flagship to its Apache lineup – TVS Apache RTR 310.

This newly launched motorcycle with 312.2 cc engine comes with a reverse inclined D set-up which helps in providing a compact engine layout thus resulting in mass centralisation.
For TVS Apache RTR 310, the company claims that the all-new forged aluminum piston is 5% lighter which produces a peak power of 35.6 PS @ 9,700 rpm with a maximum torque of 28.7 Nm @ 6,650 rpm.
Further, the engine is tuned for all range torque delivery and the fastest in segment 0-60 2.81 seconds, TVS said.
Its claimed top speed is 150 km/ph.
TVS Apache RTR 310 Features And Specifications
Besides this, the new launch is packed with some awesome segment-first features including Cruise Control, multiple Ride Modes, Climate Control Seats and Dynamic Stability control.
When it comes to power, it is delivered through a 6-speed transmission with a bi directional quickshifter.
Its quickshifter is specially tuned for operating range starting from 2,300 rpm all the way to the red line.
The RTR 310’s throttle by-wire system comprises a 46mm throttle body.
In addition to this, the motorcycle offers Race Tuned Linear Stability C (RT-LSC) which comes with straight line dual channel ABS, slipper clutch linear traction control and rear lift protection.
Besides this, this new bike by TVS has the best- in-class heat management, courtesy the engine coolant jacket optimization along with 23 rows of radiator tubes which allows for superior performance and higher revving.
TVS RTR is offered with a lightweight aluminum subframe, 8 spoke dual coloured alloy wheels and adjustable hand levers providing 4 levels of adjustment for increased accessibility and diverse riding styles.
When it comes to the suspension on the motorcycle, it is honed and tuned by KYB.
The bike comes with monoshock having monotube floating piston technology with a hydraulic stopper with check valves.
The RTR 310 is offered with Michelin Road 5 tyres, featuring Michelin’s patented ACT+ technology, to provide superior grip for cornering and offer a premium ride feel.
It is equipped with 5 riding modes including – Urban, Rain, Sports, Track and Supermoto that disengages the rear ABS maximizing the power.
The bike offers unique UI themes with a horizontal 5” TFT screen, that TVS is a “Race Computer,”.
It has a customizable set including traction control, cruise control, quickshifter, climatic seat control, TPMS, headlamp brightness and DRL control.
RTR 310 is equipped with SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity links it with the smartphone, offering a series of features including telephony, music control, GoPro control, smart helmet connectivity voice assist, race telemetry, turn by turn navigation with what3words, digi docs and crash alert.
