In an anticipated move, Nothing Tech has commenced the rollout of its stable Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5 update to users of Nothing Phone (2). The update introduces significant changes, spanning new widgets, Glyph interface updates, and enhanced customization options for both home and lock screens.

Widget Revolution and User-Friendly Features

The update showcases an array of new widgets, such as a pedometer for tracking daily steps, an updated media player, and a screen time widget. Among the notable additions is a double-tap gesture for the power button, providing users with the flexibility to open any preferred feature. Additionally, Nothing confirmed the initiation of the open beta for Phone (1) users later this month.

The latest update brings a fresh double-tap gesture for the power button, enabling users to swiftly access their chosen feature. Meanwhile, new widget options, including a pedometer, updated media player, and screen time widget, enhance user experience.
