Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that the State government will soon launch a mobile application to detect fake liquor bottles, allowing users to scan holograms on bottles and instantly verify authenticity. The initiative aims to curb the sale of spurious liquor, which Naidu said had caused thousands of deaths under the previous regime.

Smart Street Vending Market Opens in Nellore
Virtually inaugurating the Smart Street Vending Market at Mypadu Gate in Nellore, Naidu lauded the ₹7-crore project featuring 120 modern shops built using 30 modular containers. The market includes Wi-Fi facilities, rooftop seating, and long-term stability for small street vendors. He praised the Municipal Administration Department, MEPMA, and Nellore Municipal Corporation for executing the initiative, calling it “an early Diwali for the people of Nellore.”
Empowering Women and Entrepreneurs
Naidu reiterated his government’s commitment to empowering women and differently-abled persons through transparent shop allotments. He added that one lakh DWCRA women will be trained and supported to become entrepreneurs under a new livelihood programme, creating sustainable employment opportunities across Andhra Pradesh.
Medical Colleges Under PPP Model
Defending his government’s plan to build new medical colleges under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, Naidu said the move would ensure top-quality healthcare and add 110 medical seats for underprivileged students. He noted that traditional methods take decades, while the PPP model will deliver results within two years.
Rapid Infrastructure Development Ahead
Highlighting upcoming projects, Naidu mentioned the Krishnapatnam, Ramayapatnam, and Dugarajapatnam ports, along with Dagadarthi Airport and bullet train connectivity. He reaffirmed his government’s focus on improving income, education, and healthcare for the poor and middle class, vowing to take strict action against illicit activities and misinformation campaigns.
