As per the reports, Reliance Jio as well as Airtel may soon face serious competition from Gautam Adani since he is contemplating entering the internet service market soon.
Adani Group Eyes 5G Spectrum in Upcoming Auction
Notably, as per DoT notice on March 8, next spectrum auction is going to begin on May 20.
Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Group, participated in the last spectrum auction too. Post these speculations are rife that he shall participate in the auction this year too.
As per sources, Adani is probably looking at a possible opportunity to acquire 5G internet.
In a meeting with his employees some time ago, he told them that he has plans to expand his data centre.
Signs of New Company on the Horizon
On the parallel lines, he shall also work on the AI-ML and Industrial Cloud Capability. Hence, as per these developments, it can be safely concluded that he is already working on 5G bands.
The 5G internet is growing and Gautam Adani wants to be a part of it too.
Meanwhile, Gautam Adani shared information on the social media platform ‘X’ about the meeting with the CEO of Qualcomm, when he visited India a few days ago.
As per the reports, sooner or later he shall come up with a new company.
However, there has been no information or communication by the company yet.
