Apple has officially confirmed the date for its much-anticipated ‘Awe Dropping’ hardware launch event, scheduled for the second week of September. As always, the spotlight will be on the next-generation iPhone lineup, but this year’s showcase is expected to include a range of exciting products across multiple categories.

iPhone 17 Series: A Major Shake-Up

The iPhone 17 series will headline the event, with Apple reportedly planning four models. Interestingly, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to replace the Plus model, positioning itself between the Pro and Pro Max as the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever. The complete lineup is anticipated to include:

  • iPhone 17
  • iPhone 17 Pro
  • iPhone 17 Air
  • iPhone 17 Pro Max

AirPods Pro (3rd Generation): Smarter and More Powerful

Apple may finally refresh its premium earbuds with the AirPods Pro (3rd Generation). Reports suggest incremental improvements, including:

  • An enhanced H2 chip
  • Better active noise cancellation (ANC)
  • Longer battery life
  • A potential heart rate monitoring feature

These upgrades aim to make the AirPods Pro even more competitive in the TWS market.

Apple Watch Series 11: Small but Meaningful Upgrades

The Apple Watch Series 11 is expected to retain its flat-edged design but could adopt an LTPO screen for improved battery efficiency. It will likely feature the new S11 SoC, built on the same architecture as its predecessors. Rumours also hint at the addition of blood pressure monitoring, which would mark a first for Apple’s standard smartwatch lineup.

Apple Watch Ultra 3: Big Leap with Satellite Connectivity

Apple’s high-end smartwatch, the Watch Ultra 3, may see major upgrades, including:

  • Satellite connectivity for emergency contact in remote areas
  • A larger display with 422 x 514 resolution
  • Potential blood pressure monitoring

These improvements could make it a direct challenger to Garmin’s adventure-focused smartwatches.

Accessories: TechWoven Cases

Apple is also expected to launch TechWoven cases for the iPhone 17 series. Made from sustainable materials, these MagSafe-compatible cases will be available in five colours — Black, Brown, Blue, Green, and Purple — with a non-slip, fabric-like texture and dual lanyard holes.
