1st Ever Vande Bharat Sleeper To Have Fish, Meat, Veg Food (New Menu Released)

This news is for the first Vande Bharat Sleeper train passengers as the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has recently released the revised food menu options for its passengers.

As we know, the Kamakhya-Howrah-Kamkhya Vande Bharat Sleeper Express began its commercial operation from January 22 flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 17.

The IRCTC announced that passengers on the Howrah–Kamakhya–Howrah Vande Bharat Sleeper train can choose between vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal options on Wednesday.

Besides this, a non-vegetarian meal option will soon be introduced on the Vande Bharat Sleeper train, said Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on February 1.

Prior to this, non-veg options including fish and meat were not available for travellers as per the menu released by the IRCTC.

What Are The Food Menu Options Available On IRCTC Howrah-Kamakhya Vande Bharat Sleeper?

The passengers will be served tea, biscuits and muffin along with IRCTC prepared three separate food menu lists for passengers travelling from on train number 27575.

 In addition to this, he Howrah-Kamakhya Vande Bharat Sleeper, will be serving Basanti Pulao, Ghee rice or Green Peas Pulao along with paratha, Cholar dal, Aloo gajar methi matar bhaja or Jhuri aaloo bhaja.

Besides this the travellers can expect matar paneer, chanar dalna or dhokar dalna. 

There will be Bengali chicken curry, Murgh rogini or Murgir jhol options for the non-veg menu options.

Its dessert options include Sandesh, Kala Jamun or Kheer Kadam.

What Are The IRCTC Food Menu Options For Kamakhya-Howrah Vande Bharat Sleeper?

Besides tea, biscuits and muffin, IRCTC has come up with three separate food menu lists for passengers travelling on train number 27576. 

Moving ahead, IRCTC confirmed that the passengers travelling on train number 27576  will be served Jeera rice, Jeera corn pulao or Kismish pulao along with Tehdar Paratha. 

They will also be serving mixed dal (Arhar, Moong) and Lesera aloo bhaji, Bhendi aloo bhaji or Beans aloo bhaji.

The passengers will also be served Paneer Masala or Kadai Paneer, in non-veg food options they will be serving Chicken masala, Chicken curry, and dessert options will have Narikal Burfi, Lal Mohan or Rasgulla.
