The device is anticipated to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, boasting up to 18 GB of RAM and a generous internal storage capacity of 512 GB. Regarding the display features, the primary foldable screen is expected to span 7.8 inches with an impressive 120Hz refresh rate, while the secondary screen will measure 6.3 inches.
Samsung recently unveiled its 5th-generation Galaxy Z fold, pricing it in line with Apple iPhone’s pro models. OnePlus Open is rumored to sport a circular frame camera setup, possibly featuring a cutting-edge hazel-blade main camera.
In the journey to develop this foldable phone, OnePlus has joined forces with Oppo. It’s worth noting that Samsung pioneered the foldable smartphone market five years ago with the groundbreaking introduction of the concept on February 20, 2019.
