For the first time ever, Indian Railways has introduced a direct train service from Bengaluru to Rishikesh, catering to the rising demand for hill station getaways during the hot summer months. Operated by South Western Railway (SWR), this special train offers a direct link between Karnataka and Uttarakhand.

Schedule and Dates to Remember
Train number 06597 Yeshwantpur–Rishikesh Express Special will depart from Bengaluru’s Yeshwantpur station at 7:00 AM on June 19, June 26, and July 3, reaching Rishikesh at 10:20 AM on the following Saturday.
The return journey, Train 06598 Rishikesh–Yeshwantpur Express Special, will leave Rishikesh at 5:55 PM on June 21, June 28, and July 5, and arrive back in Bengaluru at 7:45 PM on Monday.

The train passes through a diverse and picturesque route covering key stops like Yelahanka, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, Kurnool City, Kacheguda, Nagpur, Bhopal, Agra Cantonment, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Haridwar, and more.
