Hyundai Creta EV: Specifications and Features
With a 171 PS electric motor that reaches 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, the Hyundai Creta Electric outperforms the Creta N Line in terms of performance and provides immediate torque and thrilling acceleration.
In addition to the current auto headlamps, the Creta Electric has rain-sensing wipers, a feature not seen in the ICE version.
With the removal of a traditional transmission tunnel, the Creta Electric offers a floating center console with additional interior storage and an extra 22L frunk under the bonnet, while maintaining the same 433L boot space.
Exterior enhancements include a new Ocean Blue Metallic shade, a sportier revised fascia, a closed-off grille, aero alloy wheels, and active aero flaps to improve aerodynamic efficiency. With a steering column-mounted gear selector and a redesigned steering wheel with quad dots (Hyundai in Morse code), the Creta Electric borrows design cues from Hyundai’s high-end Ioniq series.
The Creta Electric has a memory feature for the driver’s seat and electrically adjustable front passenger chairs that allow boss mode. Additionally, in contrast to the ICE version of the Creta, second-row passengers can now use tray tables.
Because of the vehicle’s Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, the Creta Electric battery pack may work as a power bank that can power devices both inside and outside the car using a 3-pin socket.
NFC-based Digital Key technology transforms cell phones into digital keys, eliminating the need for conventional keys and enabling keyless driving and remote engine starting.
In contrast to the ICE version, the Creta Electric boasts improved ambient lighting, which offers wider coverage and a better cabin atmosphere.
The Hyundai Creta will soon join the ranks of Hyundai’s EV offerings, following the Kona Electric and Ioniq 5. The Kona Electric has been discontinued, making the Creta EV Hyundai’s third electric model for India.
