Finally, the wait is over for the super low-cost laptop from Reliance Jio, JioBook as it is now available for consumers in India.

JioBook Launch In India 

As we know, Jio showcased the JioBook to the consumers a few days back during the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022. 

That time, the company did not reveal its official pricing for retail users.

But now, this newly launched laptop is available for everyone to buy from the Reliance Digital store.

Although, they are yet  to confirm 

its availability at every offline retail store of Reliance Digital or if users would only be able to order it online. 

JioBook Pricing In India 

To start with, Reliance Jio has launched the JioBook for Rs 15,799. 

Though its MRP is mentioned as Rs 35,605, it will be sold at Rs 15,799. 

Besides this, jio is also offering up to Rs 5,000 instant discounts with leading banks’ credit cards and debit cards and EMI transactions.

 It is noteworthy here that for different cards, there is a different amount of discount.

JioBook Specifications 

The JioBook will be offered in a single color – Jio Blue. 

Further, the device comes with an 11.6-inch screen with resolution support for 1366 x 768 pixels. 

It comes with stereo speakers and a 2MP web camera to ensure that users can make video calls. 

The device comes with one HDMI port, and the laptop would support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. 

With a warranty of one year, the JioBook also has one 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card slot of up to 128GB, a 5000mAh battery and 32GB of eMMC memory. 

For the OS, it will run on JioOS and also integrated Jio4G LTE technology to provide unmatched connectivity.

Jio claims that its battery can run up to 8 hours+ hours. 

Powered by an octa-core CPU, the laptop weighs only 1.2 Kg, making it super light. 

With this laptop, the consumers will get access to the JioStore  which has a repository of apps, content and productivity tools. 

One should keep in mind while purchasing this laptop is that it is Made in India, so inline with the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission of the government. 

For SIM activation, users will have to go to the nearest Jio store to complete the KYC process.
