Reliance Jio Removes Free Disney+Hotstar Access From Prepaid Plans: Only These Plans Have Free Access Now

The leading telecom provider Reliance Jio is known to house a number of bundled subscriptions with the famous OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. However, it has been found that most of the OTT streaming plans available on Jio’s recharge platform are no longer reflected.

It has been seen that Reliance Jio has removed or discontinued about 12 add-on subscription packs of Disney+ Hotstar from its Recharge section on either website or the My Jio app.

Only two bundled streaming plans of Jio with Disney+ Hotstar can be found on Jio’s Recharge platform.

All the Disney+ Hotstar Bundle Plans No Longer Available on Jio

Reliance Jio, without making any sound, removed 12 bundled subscription plans with Disney+ Hotstar, which means that users can no longer avail these recharge plans.

These bundles include:

• Rs 151 Disney+ Hotstar data add-on pack
• Rs 555 add-on recharge plan
• Rs 659 add-on plan
• Rs 333 Disney+ Hotstar recharge plan
• Rs 499 prepaid plan
• Rs 583 plan
• Rs 601 plan
• Rs 783 plan
• Rs 799 plan
• Rs 1066 plan
• Rs 2999 plan
• Rs 3119 plan

It must also be noted that even though the aforelisted plans are no longer available on Jio’s Recharge space for buying, those who have already recharged with these plans will be able to use them until the validity lasts.

Only 2 Bundled Disney+ Hotstar Plans Available on Jio

As mentioned above, Reliance Jio has eliminated 12 recharge packs with the Disney+ Hotstar bundles – all but two.

These two recharge plans are:

• The Rs 1,499 plan: It comes with the Disney+ Hotstar subscription, along with daily data of 2GB and unlimited voice call benefit. Customers get 100 free SMS per day and the validity lasts for 84 days.
• The Rs 4,199 plan: It comes with the Disney+ Hotstar subscription and provides an unlimited voice call benefit to all networks, along with a daily data of 3GB. Customers get 100 free SMS per day and the validity lasts for 365 days.
