By 2023, the Indian market can see the launch of upcoming electric SUV XUV 400 by Mahindra.

Mahindra XUV 400

This car will lock horns with likes of Tata Nexon EV in India. Spotted multiple times during its testing on Indian roads, the Mahindra XUV 400 will be based on the company’s successful SUV- XUV300.

There have been some design changes to it, despite being based on XUV 300.

There has been a distinct design change in the LED tail lamps, if we have to go with the latest spy pictures. The bumper section of the SUV also looks different than the XUV300.

Specifications & Price

More details could not be seen as the testing model was heavily camouflaged. The overall length of the car (XUV 400EV) is longer than the XUV300 as it has a length of 4.2m. The additional length of the EV is expected to offer more space for the passengers as well as more boot space.

The all-new Mahindra XUV 400 EV will be powered by a single electric motor producing a power of 150 bhp.

The power generated by the XUV 400 EV will be more than the XUV 300.

Though there is not much clarity on the cabin features of the electric SUV, it is expected that they are going to be better than the XUV 300. We hope that it will feature the ADAS features that are offered on the XUV 700.

After a full charge, the range of the XUV 400 is expected to be somewhat around 400km. However, from the claimed mileage the real-world mileage will vary. The price of the upcoming XUV 400 EV is expected to be like that of Tata Nexon EV.

The price of the upcoming XUV 400 EV is expected to be like that of Tata Nexon EV. It is expected to be priced between Rs 15 lakh to Rs 18 lakh at the time of its launch in India.
