The leading telecom service provider in India, Reliance Jio, has increased the price of one of its most popular prepaid plans meant for JioPhone users in India. The Rs 749 prepaid plan of the JioPhone will now cost Rs 899 to the users. This means that from now onwards, Jio’s customers will have to pay around Rs. 150 more for the same plan.

The Rs. 749 plan has been replaced

The JioPhone Rs 749 plan has been taken down from Reliance Jio’s website. The Rs 899 plan has now replaced the Rs. 749 plan. The Jio Rs 899 plan (previously Rs 749 plan) is a year-long plan (336 days) and offers great benefits for its customers.

JioPhone plan details

This Reliance JioPhone Plan is a 12 cycle plan. Each cycle is 28 days long. This means that the plan is valid for a total of 336 days which is just 20 days shy of a year. 24 GB of total data is given on the plan. For each 28-day cycle users receive 2 GB data. If they use up all the data provided to them, the internet speed slows down and becomes 64 Kbps.

Users are going to get unlimited voice calls to any other mobile network in the country as well as 50 SMS per 28 days. The users also receive free subscriptions to JioCinema, JioTV, JioCloud and JioSecurity.
