To reduce the waiting list in trains, North Western Railway has made the decision of adding permanent coaches in 21 pairs of trains. In addition to the third AC in these coaches, arrangements are being made for the second sleeper, second chair car coach.

With these additions, the passengers’ train journey is going to become easier and smoother. People traveling to the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Assam, Odisha etc. are going to appreciate this change.

Extra Coaches: Relief For Passengers

During the summer vacations, there is always an increase in the number of passengers in trains. Because of this there are extremely long waiting times in trains. To resolve this issue and ensure the convenience of the passengers, the Railways makes arrangements to increase the coaches in the existing trains on a temporary and sometimes even a permanent basis. A big decision has been made by the North Western Railway in the same arena.

The railway zone has decided to add permanent coaches in 21 pairs of trains. This will reduce the waiting time of the passengers and they will also be given the facility of more berths. Third AC coaches, second sleeper coaches, and second chair cars are mainly the coaches that are going to be added to the existing trains. With the addition of more temporary coaches in these 21 pairs or total 42 trains, the journey of passengers traveling from the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Assam, Odisha etc. will become easier and smoother.

Full List Of Trains Will Extra Coaches

As per the North Western Railway spokesperson Captain Shashi Kiran, the Railways has come to the decision of permanently adding 27 more coaches in 21 pairs of trains in order to ensure the convenience of the passengers in view of the long waiting list. This change will be implemented in the trains mentioned below:-

1. Permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach in Train No. 19601/19602, Udaipur City-Newjalpaiguri-Udaipur City Express from Udaipur City with effect from 04.06.22 and from New Jalpaiguri with effect from 06.06.22.

2. Permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach in train number 20971/20972, Udaipur City-Shalimar-Udaipur City Express has been made from Udaipur City from 04.06.22 and from Shalimar from 05.06.22.

3. Permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach in train number 12996/12995, Ajmer-Bandra Terminus-Ajmer Express from Ajmer with effect from 02.06.22 and from Bandra Terminus from 03.06.22.

4. Permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach in train number 19615/19616, Udaipur City-Kamakhya-Udaipur City Express has been made from Udaipur City with effect from 06.06.22 and from Kamakhya with effect from 09.06.22.

5. Permanent increase of 02 second chair car class coaches has been done in train number 12991/12992, Udaipur City-Jaipur-Udaipur City Express from 01.06.22.

6. Permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach in Train No. 19608/19607, Madar-Kolkata-Madar Express from Madar with effect from 06.06.22 and from Kolkata with effect from 09.06.22.

7. In Train No. 19715/19716, Jaipur-Gomtinagar (Lucknow)-Jaipur Express, there has been a permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach from Jaipur with effect from 01.06.22 and from Gomtinagar from 02.06.22.

8. In train number 14801/14802, Jodhpur-Indore-Jodhpur Express, there has been a permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach from Jodhpur with effect from 01.06.22 and from Indore from 04.06.22.

9. Permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach has been made in train number 12465/12466, Indore-Jodhpur-Indore Express from Indore with effect from 02.06.22 and from Jodhpur with effect from 03.06.22.

10. In train number 14806/14805, Barmer-Yesvantpur-Barmer Express, there has been a permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach from Barmer with effect from 02.06.22 and from Yesvantpur with effect from 06.06.22.

11. In train number 12495/12496, Bikaner-Kolkata-Bikaner Express, there has been a permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach from Bikaner with effect from 02.06.22 and from Kolkata with effect from 03.06.22.

12. In train number 20471/20472, Bikaner-Puri-Bikaner Express, there has been a permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach from Bikaner with effect from 05.06.22 and from Puri with effect from 08.06.22.

13. In Train No. 22473/22474, Bikaner-Bandra Terminus-Bikaner Express, there is a permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach from Bikaner with effect from 06.06.22 and from Bandra Terminus from 07.06.22.

14. Permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach in train number 12489/12490, Bikaner-Dadar-Bikaner Express has been made from Bikaner with effect from 04.06.22 and from Dadar from 05.06.22.

15. Permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach in Train No. 22475/22476, Hisar-Coimbatore-Hisar Express has been made from Hisar with effect from 01.06.22 and from Coimbatore with effect from 04.06.22.

16. Permanent increase of 02 Third AC class coaches in train number 12486/12485, Sri Ganganagar-Nanded-Sriganganagar Express from Sriganganagar to 04.06.22 and from Nanded from 06.06.22 has been made.

17. In train number 12440/12439, Sriganganagar-Nanded-Sriganganagar Express, there has been a permanent increase of 01 Third AC class coach from Sriganganagar with effect from 03.06.22 and from Nanded from 05.06.22.

18. Permanent increase of 01 Third AC and 01 Second Sleeper Class coaches has been made in train number 14724/14723, Bhiwani-Kanpur-Bhiwani Express from Bhiwani with effect from 01.06.22 and from Kanpur from 02.06.22.

19. Permanent increase of 02 second chair car class coaches has been done in train number 22977/22978, Jaipur-Jodhpur-Jaipur Express from 01.06.22.

20. Permanent increase of 02 second chair car class coaches has been done in train number 12065/12066, Ajmer-Delhi Sarai-Ajmer Express from 01.06.22.

21. Permanent increase of 02 second chair car class coaches has been done in train number 22987/22988, Ajmer-Agrafort-Ajmer Express from 01.06.22.
