Kharkhoda To Achieve Full Capacity in 2028

He said that till the Kharkhoda plant achieves full capacity in 2028, the production at the Gurugram plant will continue. He said that currently the areas around Gurugram plant are residential and hence it is utmost important that the plant is operational but it does not disturb the neighbours.

Around 13,000 new jobs will be created, as per incoming details.

The press conference was attended by Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, who also holds the industries portfolio, and deputy CM Dushyant Chautala.

He advocated MSIL venturing into real estate and urged them to set up projects in the sector. He asked MSIL to also invest in the proposed Global City project in Gurugram.

Speaking about the decision of state government to ensure that the plant stayed in Haryana, he said that the overall reasons for Maruti Suzuki India Limited in making this decision is the competitive business environment, the government’s support and Kharkhoda’s strategic location.

Echoing similar sentiments, Bhargava said, “Maruti Suzuki purchased land in Kharkhoda to set up its new plant due to the better environment in the state,” he said.

1,000 small plots to smaller units in Kharkhoda have been allotted by HSIIDC, said that CM. He said that this will play a key role in developing the industrial ecosystem of the township.

CM said that in order to give relief to the industrialists, land enhancement policy has also been changed. The limit of enhancement fee has also been fixed by the state government. The government will bear the amount over the expected fee, and, under this policy, the government has auctioned plots worth Rs 15,000 crore to industrial units.

A target for creating 200000 employment opportunities annually has been set by the government, said Chief Minister.
