Even the smallest mistakes can land you in trouble if you don’t practice caution while travelling in the Indian railways.

Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, a big change has been made by the Indian Railways. The recent change made by the railways is about the passengers traveling at night and should be known to the passengers traveling in the train.

As per the new rules of Raiways, no person is allowed to talk on the mobile in a loud voice nor can he listen to songs in a loud voice when he/she is in the compartment/coach.

For The Peaceful Sleep

New guidelines have been issued by the Railways so that there is no disturbance in the sleep of the passengers and they can sleep peacefully during the journey.

Previously there have been complaints by passengers about people traveling together in their coach talk loudly on the phone, or listen to songs till late at night. There were also complaints from some passengers that the railway escort or maintenance staff also talk in loud voice. There were also complains about passengers keeping the lights on even after 10 o’clock in the night, which affects the quality of the sleep.

In the light of these complaints the Railways has made a new rule. In such a situation, if any passenger does not follow the rules, action will be taken against him.

The New Rules

Railway Board has decided that if you are talking fast on mobile after 10 pm while traveling in train, then strict action will be taken. According to the new rules, passengers can neither talk loudly nor listen to music during night travel. If any passenger complains, it will be the responsibility of the staff present in the train to resolve it.
