Two list of “dead” devices has been published by Xiaomi, these devices will no longer be supported by the tech giant.

One list contains Xiaomi End of Life and includes smartphones. This list lists all those phones that will no longer receive software updates, including security updates, new versions of the MIUI shell and Android OS. 

It contains the “new” or recently replenished their ranks are Redmi Go, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones

Other list lists all those smartphones for which there will be no after-sales service, such as repair and replacement of components. However, notably these phone owners are still entitled to the testing, cleaning and debugging services.

Xiaomi New Store

The grand opening of the largest Xiaomi Mi Home flagship store in China has been recently announced by Xiaomi. In the city of Nanning, a new flagship store has been opened. 

All the tech giant’s products are featured in the new store. If promotional reports are to be believed, The Xiaomi Mi’s new flagship home store is built on an area of 1,000 square meters. There will be a huge screen on the façade of a 3 floored store.

Over 2,000 products, including smartphones, smart speakers, smart TVs and other Xiaomi ecosystem products will be housed in the new store.

Gifts like Redmi Buds 3 headphones, XiaoAI Speaker Play one, and more are being gifted to the shoppers as give away gifts.

Started as a online brand, Xiaomi gradually started to spread its roots in the retail segment. With over 10,000 Mi Stores in China, one can say that the Chinese tech giant has built a strong offline presence in recent years.

In its authorized stores, after sales services are provided by Xiaomi. As far as future plans are concerned, the giant also plans to open a service center in every county in China. 

Xiaomi is third biggest brand in the market, after Apple and Samsung.
