Vision

Founder Rajkumar Patel said of the bike that it packs in a complete on-road riding experience and that the startup aims to revamp the Indian automobile sector with electric change.

It also wants the public to “re-think our way to commute, luxury, and recreation because we believe in precision and quality”.

The vision behind building the bike is to provide “luxury, style, and sustainability for biking enthusiasts.”

Design, Appearance

The bike has a novel appearance with a rectangular LED headlight and a single-piece fairing covering the battery and the motor.

The company said that its inspiration for the design was Gujarat’s Majestic Asiatic Lions which are emblematic of the ‘spirit of pride, power and personality very sportingly’.

It should be noted that the design has undergone revisions, so the final look may be different.

As a matter of fact, when the bike had its soft launch in November 2021, it was already on its 10th prototype iteration.

Battery, Top Speed, Range

The company has shared some technical specifications of the bike.

The CSR 762 is powered by a 3kW mid-mounted motor that delivers a claimed 10kW of peak power.

It makes use of a PMSM motor with a central drive system.

The motor is paired with a 3.7kW Lithium-ion nickel-manganese-cobalt battery with a claimed range of 120km.

The company also claims that it can achieve a top speed of 110kmph.

Future Features

Svitch intends to introduce removable batteries and set up battery swapping stations for increased practicality.

The bike offers six riding modes- 3 driving modes, 1 parking mode, 1 reverse mode & 1 sports mode.

No word yet on connectivity features.

Dimensions

It runs on a basic suspension setup consisting of a telescopic fork and a monoshock.

Braking duties are handled by discs at both ends.

The bike has a claimed weight of 155kg.

Among other specs, its wheelbase stands at 1,430 mm and has a seat height of 780 mm which should make it accessible for the Indian market.

Availability, Price

It will initially be sold in Tier-1 cities given that the vehicle is meant for the city commute segment and the middle-class automobile demographic in particular.

It will be priced at around Rs 1.65 lakh which goes down to around Rs 1.25 lakh thanks to subsidies worth Rs 40,000.

It faces competition from other electric bikes such as the Tork Kratos and the Revolt RV 400.
