OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will launch on April 28 in India. The company will host an event in India on April 28, where it will announce two new smartphones: OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite and OnePlus 10R. OnePlus is also omitting the Alert Slider for the first time on a OnePlus series phone. The Alert Slider was introduced way back in 2014 and remained a trademark feature for all the OnePlus series phones.
OnePlus 10R will come in Sierra Black, Green and Arctic Glow color options, while OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will come in Jade Fog and Black options.
OnePlus Ace is confirmed to launch on April 21 in China, which will to come to India as OnePlus 10R. OnePlus Ace will be based on the Realme GT Neo 3. The leaked specs match, and the same Realme device will be rebranded as OnePlus Ace in China and OnePlus 10R in India.
OnePlus 10R India Launch: Rebranded OnePlus Ace?
OnePlus 10R / Ace is said to come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel offering 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, OnePlus 10R / Ace will be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 8100 processor, along with 8GB or 12GB RAM and upto 512GB internal storage. Coming to optics, the upcoming OnePlus phone is said to sport a 16MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup.
It will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera along with a 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP tertiary sensor. Finally, in terms of backup, the upcoming OnePlus mobile in India is tipped to feature a sizable 4,500mAh battery. But it’s said to support ground-breaking 150W ultra fast charging support.

The rear panel on OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite shows a rectangular camera module which houses two large camera sensors, a third camera in the smaller circle and an LED flash. Coming to the other side, there’s a flat side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the right. On the left, there are the volume controls and a hybrid SIM slot. The bottom has a Type-C port, speaker grille and a 3.5mm headphone jack and NO Alert Slider.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is tipped to be the first OnePlus Nord phone to run on the latest Android 12 out of the box. Going by the leaks, the rear camera system will have a high-resolution primary camera and two 2MP sensors, and no ultra-wide camera.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will feature a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with support for 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the upcoming OnePlus device will run on Snapdragon 695 5G chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The Geekbench listing confirms Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 with upto clock speeds of 2.21GHz paired with Adreno 619 GPU and 6GB RAM running on Android 11.
In terms of cameras, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is said to feature a 64MP OmniVision primary sensor accompanied by a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP mono lens. camerafv5 certification reveals a 64MP primary camera and a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls on the front.
Upfront, the device will pack in a 16MP sensor for selfies. The handset will be backed by a sizable 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The TUV Rheinland and FCC certifications confirm a 4,500mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support on OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite.
