Free Netflix For Airtel Users, Only If They Choose These Plans (Price, Validity, & Other Details)

Airtel has launched postpaid plans which will also include a free Netflix subscription.

There are two Airtel Postpaid Family Plans – Rs 1199 and Rs 1599.

Rs 1599 Plan

Those opting for the Rs 1599 plan get monthly access to Netflix’s Standard plan.

Benefits include unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, free add-on connection with unlimited calls and handset protection.

It also provides data rollover of up to 500GB.

Apart from Netflix, users of this plan also get free access to Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, and Airtel Xtreme.

Rs 1199 Plan

This used to cost Rs 999.

Postpaid users can upgrade to the Rs 1199 plan and enjoy monthly access to Netflix’s Basic plan.

Standard benefits include 100 SMS per day, and local, STD, and unlimited calling.

Data benefits include rollover of up to 150GB.

Apart from Netflix, users also get free subscriptions to Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime, Airtel Xtreme and handset protection.

How To Activate Netflix

If you are a new postpaid subscriber, you can buy any of the two plans detailed above or upgrade to the Airtel Netflix bundle plan from the Airtel website (www.airtel.in) or from the Airtel Thanks app.

After selecting the plan, an activation SMS will be sent to your registered mobile number.

This is applicable even if you upgrade to the plan.

Click on the link in the SMS to activate the Netflix account.

After activating the account, go to the ‘Discover Thanks Benefit’ page on the Airtel Thanks app.

Scroll down and find ‘Netflix’ in the ‘Enjoy your rewards’ section.

Select ‘Claim’, followed by ‘Proceed’ on the Netflix product description page.

You will be redirected to the Netflix website to complete activation.
