India Will Allow All International Flights From March 31: No RT-PCR Needed For These Nations

Considering the reducing in coronavirus cases, the Ministry of Civil Aviation is all set to resume international flights from March 27 as it has announced earlier this month.

It is noteworthy here that the flight operations will be resuming  after a huge gap of two years. 

Prior to this, India had suspended the flight services on March 23, 2020 due to the rise in coronavirus cases. 

But, the operation was not totally stopped since the flights have been running under Air Bubble agreements and Vande Bharat Mission from July 2020 onwards.

Now various airlines are expecting a huge footfall to travel abroad for both leisure and business purposes with the reopening of international flights. 

Over 39 percent of Indians are expected to travel internationally by 2022 according to a survey by travel website Agoda.

Travel Without RT-PCR Test Reports

With the start of the international flight, few countries have eased the travel guidelines for international air passengers.

So the travelers don’t need to produce RT-PCR test reports to travel to that destination. 

Travel To Bahrain And Egypt

To start with, Bahrain has allowed non-vaccinated tourists to enter the country without a pre-departure RT-PCR test. 

So now, air passengers can visit Al Jasra House, Al Bahrain museum, Manama Souq, Dive Bahrain for a dive into the largest underwater theme park in the world, and the Nurana Islands for kayaking and other water sports.

In the case of Egypt, it has also relaxed the travel guidelines for tourists. 

So, the RT-PCR test is no longer required for fully Vaccinated travelers with Covishield or AstraZeneca to enter Egypt. 

By filling a simple health declaration form, you can visit places like the Red Sea, Khan el-Khalili market, Great Pyramids of Giza among others.

Rules For France and France And Lebanon

France has also relaxed the travel guidelines and removed the requirement of RT-PCR test report for the travelers who are fully vaccinated. 

So the air passenger can visit places such as Paris and see the Eiffel Tower, Seine River, Mont-Saint-Michel after arrival.

They can also go closer to nature in regions like Provence, French Alps, Dijon, Burgundy, Champagne, and Lyon city. 

If you have received your second vaccine at least six months before then you are free to travel to Lebanon as they don’t require a pre-departure RT-PCR test report for travelers. 

The travelers simply have to upload vaccination certificates to the Ministry of Health’s website.

Rules For Turkey And Norway

The Turkish government does not require RT-PCR testing for air passengers who have been vaccinated fully across the globe. 

But the travelers have to fill out a health form 72 hours prior to their arrival.

According to Norway’s rule, the air passengers fully vaccinated within nine months of their arrival do not need an RT-PCR test to enter the country. 

If the final dose has exceeded the period, they will need a booster shot.
