The Realme V25 smartphone was launched in China today. The phone is the Realme 9 Pro rebranded and given a new name for the Chinese Market. The phone model comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage – a phone memory variant that is not available on the global stage.
The Realme V25 is a replica of the Realme 9 Pro, the only difference being their cameras. The Realme phone has a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, is fitted with a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging, and a 64MP main camera. These are all features we have already seen in the Realme 9 Pro.
Realme has replaced the 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter. The V25 is instead fitted with a 2MP B&W sensor for portrait videos and the other 2MP macro lens has remained the same. Realme V25 phone comes with Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

Realme V25 price, availability
The price of Realme V25 is set to be CNY 1,999 which is approximately Rs. 23,900 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The phones are available in the colours Purple MSI, Venus, and Firmanant Black. The new phone will be available to purchase in Realme’s home market starting from 4th March.
Realme V25 specifications
Realme V25 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC coupled with 12GB of RAM. As mentioned, the handset also offers a ‘Dynamic RAM expansion’ feature. By utilising this feature the RAM can be expanded to up to 19GB by using free storage as virtual memory.
Camera
Realme V25 features a triple rear camera unit. It has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a depth sensor, and a macro shooter. The front features a 16-megapixel camera with a selfie camera sensor.
Connectivity
Realme V25 comes with 256GB of built-in storage. On this phone the connectivity options consist of 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor to unlock the device. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the side of the phone model.
Battery
The smartphone comes with a 5,000mAh battery and the device supports 33W fast charging. The battery claims to offer a standby time of up to 24 days on a full charge. The company says that the new phone model goes from 0 to 50 percent battery in 27-minutes when charging.
Another notable fact about Realme V25 is that it comes with a photochromic back panel. The back panel automatically changes colour from Blue to Red when exposed to UV light.
