Accenture Expanding Into Tier 2 Cities With ‘Work From Anywhere’ Model!

Accenture is now planning to kick off its operations in Jaipur and Coimbatore, under its strategy of expanding talent pool.

Through the new offices in these two cities, the company will also provide its employees the flexibility in case of their workplaces.

Accenture To Start New Offices In Jaipur And Coimbatore

A memo had been sent to the staff of Accenture that talked about developing a new model to offer them flexibility where their working places were concerned.

As per the memo, “We think that there is no “one size fits all” strategy to the future of work, and our approach to how, when, and where we work will vary by business, team, and the sort of work our people do.”

The memo stated that employees could select their work location as per their convenience at the company’s Advanced Technology Centres in India from any location where Accenture already is up and running.

The official website of Accenture states that there are job openings in Jaipur for financial operations and operational data collection. The company has stated that it will be hiring a variety of in-demand technology skills, and domain and functional experts as well. Additionally, physical office space is yet to be announced.

IT Firms Receiving High Number Of Resignations?

About opening a new office in Coimbatore, Accenture has not given any confirmation. However, there are various job sites that show job openings for BPO and application developers for the Coimbatore location.

Experts have stated that Accenture’s plans of looking for new and additional sites have been boosted by the huge number of resignations that IT companies are receiving.

According to a report published by Accenture, the company’s attrition rate fell by 200 basis points (bps) sequentially to 17% in Q1FY22. This decline is from a multi-quarter high of 19% in Q4FY21. One basis point is one-hundredth of a percentage point. It should be noted that the company’s fiscal year ends in August and its first-quarter ends in November.

As per Phil Fersht, CEO of HfS Research, “This is encouraging service providers, like Accenture, to diversify their locations quickly. Wage inflation and staff churn have never been more troublesome in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, and it’s having a significant knock-on effect on clients and competitive pricing.”

In Q1FY22, the company added 50,000 employees. Now, the total headcount of Accenture is 674,325.
