CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 2 Exam Will Be Offline; CBSE Results Class 10, 12 Details


The practical exams are expected to begin by the first week of March.

The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE will release the Term 1 Result on the official site of CBSE and CBSE Results.

However, the result date and time is not announced yet.

Where To Check

The Class 10, 12 result will be available on the official links- cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in.

Apart from the two links, results can be checked through SMS and on official apps including Digilocker and Umang.

Second Term Exams Info

These students will have to write Term 2 examinations next which will begin from April 26 onwards for Class 10, 12. 

The practical exams are expected to begin by the first week of March.

CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj also said that the second-term board exam for classes 10 and 12 will take place offline

The exams will take place not at the same school but at the allotted examination centres as done in preceding years.

You Should Know 

The Board said that the students who have appeared for the examination will not have a PASS or FAIL category.

The final result for Class 10, 12 will be released only after completion of Term 2 exams. 

The term 2 exams will consist of both objective and subjective type questions.

The exam pattern will follow that of the sample question papers hosted on board’s website

Term 1 Results: How To Check Online

  • Visit the CBSE result website, cbseresults.nic.in
  • Click on the link for Class 12 Term 1 results.
  • Enter roll number and school number.
  • Submit and your result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Check the result and download the page.
  • Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

Check On DigiLocker

  • Visit the DigiLocker online portal or install the app
  • On the homepage, click on sign up option available in the upper left corner
  • Enter your name as per your Aadhaar card, date of birth, category, valid mobile number, email id, Aadhar number, and create a six-digit security pin.
  • Submit the details and set a username.
  • Once your account is created, you can access the CBSE 10th, 12th result 2022
  • Click on the class 10/12 result
  • Enter your roll number or your mobile number registered with the board
  • The CBSE class 10/12 marksheet will be displayed on the screen. It will be saved automatically on the app
