In a huge accomplishment for Make In India vision, India’s 1st ever electric tractor will be now exported, and this will pave the way for more Make In India products, especially in the electric mobility sector.

India’s 1st Ever Electric Tractor Will Be Exported

Hyderabad based Cellestial E-Mobility are producers and manufacturers of India’s 1st every electric tractor. They launched their electric tractor in March 2020, and have received more than 1800 confirmed bookings for the same.

Now, Cellestial E-Mobility have inked a pact with Mexican company, Grupo Marvelsa, for marketing and distribution of their electric tractors.

Founder & CEO, Cellestial E-Mobility, Siddhartha Durairajan, said “We found tremendous strategic and International marketing synergy with Grupo Marvelsa, besides, export sales. Further, we are exploring to leverage Mexico’s manufacturing power to produce our e-tractor and sell to the local market as well as create a base to serve North-American eTractor markets.”

This will be the 1st ever instance of an electric tractor made in India, to be exported to another nation.

These electric tractors made by Cellestial E-Mobility are mainly being used in Agri, Airport GSE, and goods carrier sectors.

Future Plans Of Cellestial E-Mobility

Buoyed by the response and encouragement, Hyderabad based Cellestial E-Mobility will now attempt to sell 4000 electric tractors in the next 3 years, in partnership with the Mexican company.

They already have a huge network of 2500 dealerships, 800 authorised service centres, and 35 vehicle units, across Mexico, and it’s expected that they will be able to achieve this target, very soon.
