The emergency, crisis, and disasters committee in Abu Dhabi has tightened entry criteria in response to a significant increase in cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to Bloomberg.

Abu Dhabi Has Tightened Entry Criteria!

Vaccinated people will need a green status on the Alhosn App on their phones starting December 30, while unvaccinated people will need a negative RT-PCR test result returned within 96 hours to enter Abu Dhabi.

On Tuesday, 1,846 more persons were found to be Covid-19 positive, with one patient dying and 632 surviving from the virus.

Regulations For Conducting Social Events

Abu Dhabi also tightened the regulations for conducting indoor and outdoor social events because of the fast-spreading Omicron.
