It’s high time for Cognizant to step up to curb the attrition rate! IT services giant Cognizant reports the highest attrition among its peers at 33%.

Soma Pandey, the new Head of Workforce Management of Cognizant, entrusted for leading and creating the company’s talent strategy according to a release.

“Given our focus in recent years on accelerating pressure hiring in India, we’ve made meaningful progress on addressing our pyramid. In the fourth quarter, we expect to make offers to 45,000 new graduates in India for onboarding in 2022. Retention and recruitment have our leadership’s full attention,”

Cognizant Initiative To Curb Attrition Rate 

Employee retention is likewise a high priority for the organisation.

To combat attrition, Cognizant has allocated bigger bonuses, wage raises, and promotions to retain staff amid a fight for talent across the digital industry.

As of now, TCS reports with 11.9% attrition rate whereas Infosys with 20.1%. Notably, the company added 17,200 new employees in the July-September quarter taking the total headcount to 3.18 lakh.
