A new report by DigiTimes re-confirms the iPhone SE third-generation, iPhone SE 3 / iPhone SE 2022 will be unveiled by March next year, as the Taiwanese publication states the production timeline for Apple’s international markets suggest Q1 2022. Apple will source all the components for iPhone SE 2022, and each component supplier is already getting ready for shipments. Previously TrendForce, a Taiwanese research firm also tipped that the upcoming iPhone SE model will launch in the first quarter of 2022, March.
The upcoming iPhone SE will retain the same iPhone 8-like design with the glass sandwiched body, which was there in the iPhone SE 2020.
iPhone SE 3 5G connectivity is being speculated at the same time. The company may unveil an iPhone SE Plus version as well.
The upcoming iPhone SE 3 will ship with the 4.7-inch LCD panel, expected to come in iPhone 8 body.
Apple is said to be working on a number of new phones apart from iPhone 14 series which also includes the most affordable iPhone in 2022 and a new iPhone 14 Max. iPhone SE 3 price has been earlier tipped as well, and may start at $499 (around Rs 36,400).
iPhone SE 3 price in India may stay less than Rs 40,000 given the company’s push to manufacture more phones in the country. iPhone SE 3 will essentially be iPhone SE 2022 offering some significant upgrades over iPhone SE (2020) and the original iPhone SE. iPhone SE 3 launch date is yet to be officially confirmed, as of now expected by Q1 2022, March the probable month.
