Electric revolution in India might just be around the corner. From electric SUVs to electric bikes and scooters, Indian roads are witnessing more electric vehicles running around nowadays. Ola electric had kind of created a buzz after receiving a mammoth response to Ola Scooter. After seeing its success, other players have also started to enter into this field enthusiastically.

Bounce Electric launches Infinity E1

Recently, Bounce Electric has unveiled Infinity E1. It is its first-ever offering in the mass-market space for electric scooters. The new Bounce Infinity E1 I is available in two iterations. The first one which will be provided with a battery and charger as a part of the package is priced at Rs 68,999. The second one with a unique ‘battery as a service’ subscription option where you can swap the batteries, is priced lower at Rs 45,099 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

You can book Both versions of the electric scooter at a completely refundable amount of Rs 499. The company is expected to start the deliveries by March 2022 across its dealerships. Bounce Electric is offering a standard warranty of 3 years or 50,000 km (whichever is earlier) on the Infinity E1.

Infinity E1 comes with unique features

With the unique ‘battery as a service’ option, the Bounce Infinity E1 will come without a proper battery and a charger. The customers will have the access to the wide battery-swapping network of the company, under which they can swap an empty battery for a fully charged one and pay accordingly. According to Bounce Electric, with this unique option, the running costs of the Infinity E1 can be as low as 40 percent of conventional petrol-driven scooters.

The scooter is being offered in five different color options of Sporty Red, Sparkle Black, Pearl White, Comet Grey, and Desat Silver. Infinity E1 comes with alloy wheels, an LED projector headlamp, an LED tail lamp and turn indicators, a digital instrument console, and a 12-liter under-seat storage compartment. The scooter also has cruise control and a mobile application to control an array of features like geofencing, drag mode, reverse mode, antitheft, and tow alert.

Infinity E1 designed for high performance

The scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 8 seconds and touch a decent top speed of 65 km/h. The electric scooter can be ridden in either of the two riding modes, Eco and Power. The lithium-ion swappable battery, which takes four to five hours to get fully charged, offers a maximum riding range of 85 km. The scooter comes with a braking system which consists of disc brakes at either end with an electronic braking system with brake energy regeneration offered as standard.
