Finally, the South Korean brand, Kia India has revealed the name of its upcoming MPV and is calling it a Recreational Vehicle (RV) – ’Carens’

Launch Of Kia Carens

According to the carmaker, the name Carens, is based on the concept of ‘Car + Renaissance’. 

The name signifies the beginning of a new era of cars and with the introduction of Carens, Kia says.

The carmaker plans to ‘revolutionize the market by creating a new segment for modern Indian families’. 

further, Kia adds that Carens will address the unmet needs of Indian customers by offering ‘innovative and inspiring experiences, in a statement issued. 

Redefining The Family Commuting

According to Kia, it will redefine the family commuting in the country. 

To offer a new segment in Indianation, Kia Carens will blend practicality with technology. 

 As it has already done with Kia Carnival in the premium MPV segment. 

It has made it a hit among many celebrities and politicians across the nation.

Moving ahead, Carens will offer a combination of a large family vehicle with the boldness of an SUV, as well as Kia’s signature innovative and smart technology, Kia adds. 

Made In India

Basically, the Kia Carens is a ‘made in India.

It is made for the world’ product that will be manufactured at Kia’s production facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. 

Kia plans to have the Carens world premiere in India on 16th December. 

It will be launched in the first quarter of 2022.
