Global tech company UST has announced that it will be doubling its workforce at its Bengaluru campus. UST is a provider of digital technology and transformation, information technology and services, and it is headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California, United States.

The company currently has a workforce of 6000 and aims for it to be 12000 by 2023.

UST To Hire 6000 Employees For Bengaluru Facility

The company has plans to expand its local presence in India for attracting talent. 

As per a statement issued by the company, freshers will be hired in the next 18-24 months for the Bengaluru facility of the company. Experienced engineers will also be hired for various roles focusing on products and services for healthcare, technology, logistics, semiconductors, and BFSI (Banking and Financial Services and Insurance) clients.

The company recently onboarded 1000 employees and also announced its plans to double the headcount at the center to 2000 employees within the next two years. 

Alexander Varghese, Chief Operating Officer and Country Head – India, UST, said, “We are quite excited to expand our India operations with one of the company’s largest centers in the world at Bengaluru.”

UST Looking For These Talents In Employees

The company is planning to hire over 10,000 new employees who will have digital proficiencies and critical skills in Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, Cloud Infrastructure, Java, Data Science & Engineering, Application Development and Modernization, AI/ML, Automation (RPA/IPA).

We recently reported that  EY, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG and Grant Thornton, are on a campus recruiting frenzy.

Samsung has also expressed interest in hiring more than 1000 engineers from top engineering colleges in India. 

These include the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani, Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT), and many more.

The engineers will be hired for the company’s Bengaluru, Delhi, and Noida offices. The company is planning to hire students from various streams, such as computer science, electronics and communications, electrical engineering, mathematics and computing, instrumentation, and information technology.
