Every Woman In This State Will Receive Rs 1000/Month If AAP Wins Elections!

Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party has announced world’s biggest woman empowerment scheme, which has raised several eyebrows, and ignited a debate on the policy of rolling out freebies to win elections.

How will this work? Is this even feasible?

Every Woman Will Get Rs 1000 In Punjab!

Ahead of State Elections in Punjab, which will happen in 2022, Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party has promised to give Rs 1000 to every woman from Punjab.

This monetary compensation will be rolled out every month to crores of women in the state.

This scheme can be only applicable if AAP wins the elections, and this can be a major game changer for them.

Addressing a huge gathering, Arvind Kejriwal said, “As soon as the AAP government is formed, every daughter above 18 years, sister, mother, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law and grandmother will get Rs 1,000 per month in their accounts. I guarantee it. I have made this decision very thoughtfully and with full calculation because what Kejriwal says, he does. The government of Delhi and the people of Delhi are witnesses to this.”

World’s Biggest Woman Empowerment Scheme?

AAP party leaders and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal have hailed this as the world’s biggest woman empowerment program, in terms of scale and reach.

The monetary assistance of Rs 1000 will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the woman, once AAP wins the State Elections.

Currently, Congress is the ruling party in Punjab.

However, as per our opinions, are stating that such a program is highly expensive, and doesn’t ensure a stunning transformation in the women’s lives.

Infact, Rs 1000 per month is a very small, unsubstantial amount in today’s times and inflation.

Besides, this will burden the State Govt with heavy load, and this can impact other social welfare schemes as well.

Arvind Kejriwal hasn’t shared how this massive scheme will be implemented, but going by the looks of it, it seems yet another appeasement strategy to garner votes, at the expense of tax payers’ money.

We will keep you updated, as more details come in.
