The Covid-19 pandemic revolutionised the way a workforce could operate and catalysed the entire idea around remote working, taking it to a whole new level.

Sectors from education to IT are adopting the work from home and work from anywhere models for their workforce and tech companies of all sizes are creating a valuable niche around it.

In a similar move, the IT services management company ITC Infotech, in partnership with the Harvard Business School has jointly come up with a remote working productivity framework called the (I – WFA), which narrows the bridge between clients and employees on a Work from Anywhere basis.

What is I – WFA?

A work from anywhere productivity framework, the I-WFA was jointly created by the Bengaluru-based tech company ITC Infotech and the renowned Harvard Business School (HBS) on November 11, which is designed to enable digital, distributed, flexible, outcome driven and secure future work scenarios for clients and employees.

It empowers a decentralised workforce.

Professor Prithwiraj Choudhury from the business school (HBS) has collaborated with the tech company to build the workplace framework.

In a time when the future of the workplace is truly remote, one of the biggest questions posed by business leaders was if a concept like work from anywhere is truly possible and if so, to what extent could it work, states Choudhury.

“I believe that I – WFA has the potential to create value for companies by facilitating hire-from-anywhere, enhancing greater workplace inclusion, increasing productivity, enabling cost savings and operational benefits. The I – WFA is an industry-defining framework that has the potential to reinvent the future of work,” stated Choudhary.

Additionally, the CEO and MD of ITC Infotech, Sudip Singh states, “We are delighted to share the I – WFA framework with the technology industry. Working alongside Prithwi, we have constructed this framework balancing productivity from the customer’s viewpoint and flexibility from the employee’s viewpoint while keeping the axis of data security at the core.”
