Instagram is looking forward to launching the new subscription feature!
According to Instagram’s iOS App Store listings, the new subscription function will allow artists and influencers to earn money. Instagram CEO Adam Mossier stated earlier this year that the business was looking into subscriptions.

According to TechCrunch, the Instagram App Store listing now features a new “Instagram Subscriptions” category under the “In-App Purchases” section.
The Subscriptions as of now are priced at Rs 89 per month, but the prices might change when the service goes live.
So users can buy to gift creators during live sessions.
The first “Instagram Subscriptions” in-app purchase was added to Sensor Tower’s US App Store listing on November 1 for $4.99. A couple of days later, on November 3, the $0.99 in-app purchase was added.
Special Member Badge
There will be a special member badge that will be visible next to the username. So this badge will prioritise the conversation with the creator especially when one directly messages or even comment in any post.
It will also help the creator to check things like earnings, active members, and expired membership, as per the report by TechCrunch.
