Bharti Airtel has been grabbing headlines!

So recently for the second quarter ending September 30, 2021, Bharti Airtel reported a net profit of Rs 1,134 crore on Tuesday.

The company’s sales is up by 11.5 percent year over year, which is a positive indicator for the Bharti Airtel and its investors. The telco’s Homes Business continues to grow in double digits, with revenue up 21.3 percent year over year.

The Net Debt-EBITDA Ratio

As of September 30, 2021, the net debt-to-EBITDA ratio (annualised) considering the impact of leases is 2.96 times.

In Q2 September 2021, the company’s EBITDA was Rs 13,810.5 crore, up from Rs 13,189.4 crore in Q1 June 2021. In Q2 September 2021, the EBITDA margin was 49.5 percent, compared to 49.1 percent in Q1 June 2021.

Bharti Airtel’s stock closed at Rs 712.90 on the BSE, up Rs 0.60, or 0.084 percent.

As of now Reliance Jio recorded an ARPU of Rs 143.6, which is Rs 10 less than Airtel. This is a huge triumph for Airtel, and the good news is that the majority of its customers are also engaged.

Bharti Airtel will be pleased with the rising ARPU, which will likely climb even more with rate hikes in the near future.
